The space
‘The Branksome Retreat’ is the epitome of luxury, quality and style. It offers a fabulously versatile living space, connecting the indoors with the outdoors via bi-fold doors. One of the most appealing features of this superb property is the large private garden, which is entirely enclosed, making it secure for both children and dogs. The outside space will delight adults and children alike, with sunloungers, deluxe lounge and dining areas and large trampoline just waiting to be bounced on.
The kitchen is fully equipped with integrated appliances and has a breakfast bar with seating for four guests. The kitchen is connected to the garden via bi-fold doors and leads through to the dining area with seating for 10 guests. The drawing room and lounge are both classy and comfortable, with modern log burners. On the ground floor, there is also a music/playroom, with bay windows, a keyboard and a selection of children’s books. The house boasts seven tastefully decorated bedrooms and five bathrooms, with freestanding baths and walk-in showers.

We stayed at this beautiful house for a family break over Easter and it was just incredible. We were a large family with multi generations, children and babies and everyone had the best time. The kids ran around the large garden and the swimming pool was heated so everyone had a dip. Checking in was easy and there was a welcome pack with wine and cookies - very thoughtful and gratefully received after a journey. The beach is just up the road so we had plenty to occupy us. The house itself is well equipped for everything we needed for a comfortable and luxurious stay, immaculately clean with plenty of toys for the kids, a well stocked kitchen with lots of seating and super comfortable beds. We really loved it and are making plans to return for the summer!!

The Branksome retreat is a beautiful house situated in a lovely part of the country where there is plenty to do - we were able to walk down to the beach at Branksome Chine in just a few minutes. We have stayed in a few luxury holiday homes over the last few years and this was the best by a country mile. The living area was ideal for a large group- with so much space to spread out. There were plenty of facilities to keep the family entertained; super games room and gym , cinema room, play room! We also booked a hot tub as the swimming pool is shut for the winter months, which was great. Harbour escapes looked after everything during our stay and were incredibly responsive. We couldn’t recommend this house highly enough and will certainly be returning in the summer to take advantage of all the facilities the house has to offer!
