The space
Located on a quiet street, this wonderful family house boasts an abundance of traditional features with the highest quality finish. The front and back gardens alike are delightful, with an abundance of outdoor seating areas: a dining table that fits eight, bistro table and chairs, bench, and lounge area perfect for a glass of wine and a chat as the day draws to a close. There’s also a BBQ and lawn games to keep you entertained.
Inside, the four generously sized bedrooms are tastefully decorated and practical, with plenty of storage for your clothes (no need to pack light). There are double bunk beds and a sofa bed, but if you need more ‘sleeping stations’, there is the option to add children’s beds and cots where you need to. An incredibly light and spacious house in both the living and sleeping areas, this residence is capable of accommodating a large family group.

We had a lovely week at this property. It was very clean, tidy, well equipped, homely and comfortable. It's in a great location for Bournemouth, Poole, the beach and all the attractions. I would recommend going to Monkey World and Paultons Park, especially if you have children, both great days out. We would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay, comfortable and spacious rooms big enough for our two families. Stylish decor and quality beds and furniture. The house is situated in a quiet road just a few minutes walk to a shop and a couple of bars and restaurants. The walk to the lovely beach and village was about 30 minutes with children, but worth the effort! We would return again without hesitation.

Coastal Retreat is a fabulous home for a week of Poole and Dorset adventures. Close to the beach (5 minute drive), seven of us (two families) were super comfortable. The kids took over one of the living rooms for TV and games and each night the adults took over the comfortable garden seating. The beds are all comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped (we weren't missing anything), there's a BBQ, garden games and clean bathrooms with good showers. Highly recommend for a luxury, spacious stay.
