The property boasts just under 3,000 sq. ft. of luxurious accommodation arranged over three floors. The open-plan living area is extremely generous in size and perfectly suited for entertaining. There are four double bedrooms, all with designer en-suite bathrooms, and a further bedroom provides versatility for large family groups. There is another room that provides a games/playroom, as well as additional children’s accommodation. The property offers two outdoor entertaining spaces, with terraces both at the front and rear of the property suitable for alfresco dining.

The space

Vista Mare has a striking design, which has been beautifully appointed using high-quality materials throughout. Situated behind security gates, you’ll appreciate the modern style and elegance from the moment you walk through the door, as you are greeted by an ultra-modern triple-height grand entrance hall and a feature oak-and-glass staircase. The attention to detail is sublime. Externally, there is a private rear terrace and an extensive terrace at the front to enjoy the beautiful sunsets across Poole Harbour.

The living space features sliding doors to the rear patio and offers a dining table that seats eight guests. The kitchen is well-appointed with a full range of appliances and facilities, and has a large island with three breakfast-bar chairs. The large rear patio terrace has the option for a relaxing hot tub.

The five bedrooms and six bathrooms are located across the top and ground floor, with the living area situated on the first floor. The master bedroom with views overlooking the harbour has a king-size bed, as well as an en-suite shower and bath. The second and third bedrooms with Juliet balconies are generously sized and offer a double bed with en-suite each. The fourth bedroom on the ground floor has a king bed along with a two-seater sofa bed and an en-suite shower. The fifth bedroom offers the option of either a king-size or twin room. There is a children’s room, which has bunk beds, a sofa bed and plenty of toys. There is also an option to add extra child’s beds or cots into any of the bedrooms.

One of the most appealing features of this property is the superb sun terrace at the front, which provides a great space for spending time together – whether it’s eating, drinking or relaxing! The patio to the rear of the property is an extension to the main living area, with sliding doors that open up to an ample sitting area, with a barbecue and outdoor heater to enjoy alfresco dining.

  • Our weekend was made incredibly special by Victoria and her team at Harbour Escapes. We needed one or two additional bits of support to make our stay perfect and Victoria saw to them immediately and always when we had popped out to the beach. The location is amazing (on the sand within 2 mins of leaving the front door!) and the open plan, light living spaces suited our weekend party plans incredibly well. Thank you again!   • Vista Mare is a magnificent Sandbanks home in a super location and just a short walk to Poole Harbour and the beautiful surrounding beaches. The house is in a quiet position, just set back from the harbour and with amazing views of the water and Brownsea Island. This home is very modern and contemporary and yet has a really welcoming and homely feel. The hosts, Harbour Escapes, were extremely attentive and actually met us at the house when we arrived to show us around and get us settled in. They also provided a very impressive package of groceries and toiletries and were on hand throughout our stay for anything we needed. They also arranged a number of activities for us, as we were celebrating a special occasion. In particular, we would recommend the hot tub on the patio which was an additional extra that made our stay even more special. The house itself was very well-appointed with everything we needed during our stay and in particular the kitchen was great for cooking, but in a sociable setting and the children’s room was also a real hit with the children in our group. We could not fault either the house or the hosts and we would highly recommend it to anyone considering staying in the Sandbanks area. Thank you Harbour Escapes and we will certainly be back again very soon!

  • A beautiful high impact house. Lovely decor with quality beds, bedding and towels. Very close to the sea – lots of options for beaches a short walk away. If you are into kite surfing or windsurfing you'll love the lagoon just at the bottom of the drive. Harbour Escapes were very attentive and readily available to help with any questions we had on the local area or the house itself. It's an open-plan house with a lovely big lounge and kitchen area. A nice welcome pack on arrival with tea, coffee, milk and treats, and other household essentials such as hand soap, sanitiser, shower gel, washing liquids, etc was a nice touch. There is a Tesco Express a short walk along the beachfront for anything else that is needed.
