‘Wilton House’ is a spacious 2-bedroom Victorian apartment, conveniently located close to all the amenities of Westbourne and within an easy walk of Alum Chine beach. The lounge and master bedroom have large bay windows, which bathe the property in light. 

A beautiful period property, Wilton House is ideally located in Westbourne, between Bournemouth and Poole. The roomy residence has high ceilings and is situated on the first floor of the building. The large open-plan living/dining and kitchen areas make it a sociable space. The apartment comes appointed with master bedroom with en-suite shower, second bedroom, and family bathroom with a shower over the bath. The apartment has one allocated parking space and a communal garden. The beach is a 15-minute walk away.

The space

This light and airy apartment benefits from large bay windows in the lounge and master bedroom. The residence also has central heating, high-speed wi-fi and smart TVs in the lounge and both bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washer/dryer, full-size fridge-freezer, electric oven with gas hobs, microwave and a full range of cooking utensils. If you’re not in the mood to cook, there are many restaurants – either eat-in or takeaway – on your doorstep in Westbourne.

Both bedrooms are appointed with king-size beds and there is a sofa bed in the living room. There is ample space in either bedroom to accommodate an additional single bed, airbed or travel cot – all of which can be provided.


Guests can also benefit from the use of a beach hut at one of the local award-winning beaches – available upon request at an additional cost. Please enquire for further details.

  • We stayed here for about 9 weeks in total whilst in Bournemouth for work and it was the perfect home from home. The flat is great, done to a high spec with everything you need. The location is also excellent and our hosts could not have been more helpful and very kindly left a lovely welcome package for us. We’ll be back again soon!

  • If you’re looking for the best of both worlds then this could be the one. The apartment is well appointed and being located in the heart of Westbourne with all its shops, bars and restaurants makes it a good choice whether you want to eat out or dine at home. On top of that it is just a few minutes' walk down to the beach so no need to use transport – always a bonus. If you have children then there is a great selection of books and toys to keep them amused on those non-beach days – a nice touch, and the smart TVs in the open-plan area and in the bedrooms mean that there is no shortage of entertainment within the apartment. The host Victoria was most welcoming and communicated really well ahead of check-in time.

  • We had a wonderful weekend in this well presented apartment. There was lots of space for two families with young children, and quite a few toys and books to keep everyone occupied. The hosts were kind enough to organise the bedrooms with extra chair beds and cot beds. The location was perfect too, close to the Westbourne shops and cafes plus not far from the beach. We would definitely like to stay again.

  • Five of us stayed here with a baby and a dog. Everything was great: the location is perfect, close to lots of cafes, restaurants and independent shops in a very pleasant area. The 10 minute walk to the beach through the chine was a highlight of our days and we often went early morning then in the evening. The flat is very spacious with lovely high ceilings, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable and even the fold-up bed was of good quality. We had toys, books, games and a lovely welcome hamper provided. During our stay, any questions were answered quickly through using the app. The kitchen was great and enabled us to eat in a couple of times. There is parking for 1 car and parking available for extra cars in adjoining roads. Thank you Victoria for a wonderful stay. We’d love to return.

  • Wonderful stylish and cosy apartment In Westbourne. The apartment is generous in size and has everything you need to have a relaxing stay in the area of Westbourne. The bedrooms are very generous in size and the fixtures and fittings are of a very high standard. I’ve never slept so well whilst away on holiday. The beds are very comfortable. The apartment is located within minutes of lots of restaurants, shops and bars. The kitchen facilities are excellent and the dining table easily fits 4 people. There is a small car park with one space allocated per apartment. The apartment is close to Bournemouth and Poole and also gives easy access to other places on the coastline. Victoria the host is very helpful and responds to any questions very promptly. I would definitely recommend this apartment to my family and friends. It’s a gem.

  • Both Victoria and Charlie were absolutely fantastic hosts. They personally met us on arrival and made us feel right at home. The flat was spotlessly clean and exactly as described. It is a beautiful bright and spacious flat. There was also plenty of toys and books for our kids. The kitchen is well equipped and made cooking easy. The local beach Alum Chine is about a 15 min walk from the flat. It's a nice scenic walk through woodlands, after which you arrive at a beautiful sandy beach. Even with our 5 year old and 1 year old it was an easy walk and my daughter even found a fairy house someone had built in one of the trees along the path. Victoria and Charlie went the extra mile and arranged a baby cot and high chair for our baby boy. Even when we forgot to bring our own beach towels they arranged some for us. It was easy to communicate with them and they were always on hand with advice or if we needed anything. All in all, one of our best stays over the years. We will definitely be back.

I had to work some of the time and the Wi-Fi was excellent.
